SoloPip Terms & Conditions

SoloPip is a wellness check-in and personal reminder tool for people living or spending time solo. It allows you to schedule recurring check-ins ("Pips") and one-off outings with an ETA, and to notify a group of contacts you choose (your "inner circle") if you miss a check-in.

SoloPip is not an emergency response service, a medical device, or a substitute for calling 911 or your local emergency services. We do not monitor check-ins in real time on your behalf, dispatch help, or guarantee that your inner circle contacts will see or act on a notification. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services directly.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use SoloPip. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You agree to provide accurate information, including a working phone number if you opt in to SMS
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account

When you add a contact to your inner circle:

• You confirm that you have their consent to be contacted by SoloPip on your behalf
• You are responsible for keeping their contact information accurate and up to date
• SoloPip is not responsible if a contact does not receive, see, or act on a notification for any reason, including but not limited to network issues, carrier filtering, incorrect contact information, or the contact's own unavailability

By opting in to SMS notifications, you agree to the following:

• You will receive text messages related to check-in reminders, grace-period reminders, and missed check-in alerts
• Message and data rates may apply
• Message frequency depends on your check-in schedule and outing activity
• You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive a confirmation that you've been unsubscribed
• Reply HELP for assistance, or contact support@solopip.com
• Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
• Opting out of SMS may limit SoloPip's ability to notify you or your contacts of missed check-ins — you acknowledge this trade-off if you choose to opt out

You agree not to:

• Use SoloPip for any unlawful purpose
• Add contacts without their knowledge or consent
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the app
• Use the app in a way that could harm, disable, or overburden our systems or those of our service providers (including Twilio, Resend, and Supabase)

If you submit feedback (including screenshots or images) through the app, you grant us permission to use it to improve SoloPip. Please don't include sensitive personal information about others in feedback or attached images.

SoloPip is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• SMS messages, push notifications, or emails will always be delivered successfully
• Missed check-ins will always result in a notification to your inner circle

You use SoloPip at your own risk, and you remain responsible for your own safety and for having appropriate emergency plans in place beyond this app.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoloPip and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app — including situations where a check-in reminder or missed-check-in alert is delayed, not delivered, or not acted upon.

We may suspend or terminate your access to SoloPip at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you've violated these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of SoloPip after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
